Independence Day Felicitations to all Pakistanis

Speech of Founder of Pakistan, Mr Muhammad Ali Jinnah on August 15, 1947, the first day of independence / foundation of Pakistan

It is with feelings of greatest happiness and emotion that I send you my greetings. August 15 is the birthday of the independent and sovereign State of Pakistan. It marks the fulfillment of the destiny of the Muslim nation which made great sacrifices in the past few years to have its homeland.

At this supreme moment my thoughts are with those valiant fighters in our cause. Pakistan will remain grateful to them and cherish the memory of those who are no more.

The creation of the new State has placed a tremendous responsibility on the citizens of Pakistan. It gives them an opportunity to demonstrate to the world how can a nation, containing many elements, live in peace and amity and work for the betterment of all its citizens, irrespective of caste or creed.

Our object should be peace within and peace without. We want to live peacefully and maintain cordial and friendly relations with our immediate neighbors and with the world at large. We have no aggressive designs against any one. We stand by the United Nations Charter and will gladly make our full contribution to the peace and prosperity of the world.

Muslims of India have shown to the world that they are a united nation, their cause is just and righteous which cannot be denied. Let us, on this day, humbly thank God for His bounty and pray that we might be able to prove that we are worthy of it.

This day marks the end of a poignant phase in our national history and it should also be the beginning of a new and a noble era. Let us impress the minorities by word, deed and thought that as long as they fulfill their duties and obligations as loyal citizens of Pakistan, they have nothing to fear.

To the freedom loving tribes on our borders and the States beyond our borders, we send our greetings and assure that Pakistan will respect their status and will extend to them its most friendly co-operation in preserving peace. We have no ambition beyond the desire to live honorably and let others live honorably.

Today is Jummat-ul-Wida, last Friday of the holy month of Ramazan, a day of rejoicing for all of us wherever we may be in this vast sub-continent and for the matter of that throughout the world. Let the Muslim congregations in their thousands, in all the mosques, bow in all humility before the Almighty and thank Him for His eternal kindness and generosity, seeking His guidance and assistance in the task of making Pakistan into a great State and themselves into its worthy citizens.

Finally, let me tell you, fellow citizens, Pakistan is a land of great potential resources. But to build it up into a country worthy of the Muslim nation, we shall require every ounce of energy that we possess and I am confident that it will come from all whole-heartedly.”

Pakistan needs Carpathia

There were three ships which were nearby when the Titanic sunk.
One of them was known as the Sampson. It was 7 miles away from the Titanic and they saw the white flares signaling danger, but because the crew had been hunting seals illegally and didn’t want to be caught, they turned and went the opposite direction away from the Titanic. This ship represents us and people like us if we are so busy looking inward at our own sin and lives that we can’t recognize when someone else is in need.

The next ship was the Californian. This ship was only 14 miles away from the Titanic, but they were surrounded by ice fields and the captain looked out and saw the white flares, but because the conditions weren’t favorable and it was dark, he decided to go back to bed and wait until morning. The crew tried to convince themselves that nothing was happening. This ship represents those of us who say I can’t do anything now. The conditions aren’t right for it and so we wait until conditions are perfect before going out.

The last ship was the Carpathia. This ship was actually headed in a southern direction 58 miles away from the Titanic when they heard the distress cries over the radio. The captain of this ship knelt down, prayed to God for direction and then turned the ship around and went full steam ahead through the ice fields. This was the ship that saved the 705 survivors of the Titanic.

When the captain looked back at the ice fields they had come through, he said Someone else hands must have been at the helm of this ship! This ship represents those who would pray to God for direction and then go without hesitation.

Life whispers in your soul and speaks to your heart. We need to take time to listen and to these whispers and take heed.

My take: Pakistan needs Carpathia.. Got plenty of other types around.

WHO SHOT LAK?..CIA CONNECTION

Extract from an article published on October 24, 1951 in an Indian magazine:
[…]It was learned within Pakistani Foreign Office that while UK pressing Pakistan for support re Iran, US demanded Pakistan exploit influence with Iran and support Iran transfer oil fields to US.
Liaquat declined request.
US threatened annul secret pact re Kashmir.
Liaquat replied Pakistan had annexed half Kashmir without American support and would be able to take other half. Liaquat also asked US evacuate air bases under pact.

Liaquat demand was bombshell in Washington. American rulers who had been dreaming conquering Soviet Russia from Pakistan air bases were flabbergasted. American minds set thinking re plot assassinate Liaquat.
US wanted Muslim assassin to obviate international complications.
US could not find traitor in Pakistan as had been managed Iran, Iraq, Jordan.
Washington rulers sounded US Embassy Kabul. American Embassy contacted Pashtoonistan leaders, observing Liaquat their only hurdle; assured them if some of them could kill Liaquat, US would undertake establish Pashtoonistan by 1952.
Pashtoon leaders induced Akbar undertake job and also made arrangements kill him to conceal conspiracy.

USG-Liaquat differences recently revealed by Graham report to SC; Graham had suddenly opposed Pakistan although he had never given such indication. […]

Cartridges recovered from Liaquat body were American-made, especially for use high-ranking American officers, usually not available in market.

All these factors prove real culprit behind assassin is US Government, which committed similar acts in mid-East. “Snakes” of Washington’s dollar imperialism adopted these mean tactics long time ago.

India’s Army Actions During Governor-Generalship of Lord Mountbatten

1. Ruler of princely state Gujarat Kathiawar announced accession with Pakistan. India attacked Gujarat Kathiawar and occupied it per force.

2. India attacked State in Southern India, Hyderabad Sikanderabad, and occupied per force.

3. State Jammu Kashmir was a collection of 7 states Jammu, Kashmir, Poonch, Gilgit, Baltistan, Laddakh, Bhadarwah and Jenani.

After August 15, 1947 Jammu Police searched houses of Muslims and took away even kitchen knives if blade was 5 inch or longer. Starage enough that houses of Hindus were not searched.

Trained armed groups of Rashtaria Sevak Sang, Hindu Mahasabha and Akali Dal protected by Indian army started entering Jammu through Gurdaspur and Kathuwa soon after declaration of Independence of Pakistan and India (August 15, 1947). *This passage to enter Jammu was provided by Boundary Commission of Sir Cyril Radcliffe.*

These India trained terrorists started killing Muslims in villages of Jammu, looting their houses and putting their crops on fire.
Later, regular Indian Army also entered Jammu and started giving coverage to Hindu and Sikh terrorists in killing Muslims, looting and arson. By end of September, 1947 when enough Indian army had enter and taken over control of borders of Jammu a& Kashmir, killing of Muslims in urban areas of Jammu started.

During September, 1947 Muslims of the state army and citizens in Gilgit and Baltistan announced their loyalty to Pakistan. They took over control of Gilgit & Baltistan and raised flag of Pakistan on the Governor House. Then they sent a messenger to Mr Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi to send his representative to run the government there. The representative named Political Agent, arrived during first week of November, 1947 and took over the control.

By November 07, 1947 around 300,000 Muslims men, women and children had been killed in Jammu.

In the meantime, on October 27, 1947 Muslims of Jammu Kashmir started struggle against Indian army by snatching weapons from them and killing them. Lord Mountbatten, who had been cunningly appointed by the Indian government as Governor General of India, called fighter planes from Burma and bombarded the Kashmir villages to kill the freedom fighters. Muslim freedom fighter took over control of Muzaffarabd, Mirpur, Bhimber and part of Poonch, etc. with support of the citizens and announced accession to Pakistan

Visualising that the freedom struggle of Muslims was getting out of control of Indian Army, Sheikh Abdullah (who was in prison since 1934) wastaken out and made Prime Minister of Jammu Kashmir. Then Indian Prime Minister Nehru flew to UNO headquarter and begged for seize fire and accepted to allow fare and free elections in Jammu Kashmir to allow the people to join country of their choice, Pakistan or India which India is denying till today and world powers and UNO are sleeping on it because it is for Muslims. Had it been in favour of non-Muslim, world powers would have jumped in and UNO would have passed resolution to allow world powers a military action.

After Independence

Millions of destitute Muslims reached Pakistan from different areas of India. Even to provide them food and shelter was a colossal job. The share of Pakistan in assets was never given to Pakistan, thanks to close relation between British government and Hindu leaders.
Such a handicapped Pakistan had to arrange for resettlement of millions of refugees including thousands injured who reached Pakistan from India.
Pakistan didn’t have even enough currency notes thus people who were given job were given wheat flour, rice, lentils, etc plus some currency for first 3 months. In offices there was no furniture. People collected wood crates from near the sea port and used those as tables. They were given used paper sheets with one side blank which were used in correspondence and nobody felt bad, instead they had high spirit of hard work and cooperation.

There were no female doctors and nurses. Begum Ra’ana Liaquat Ali (wife of Prime Minister) went to streets and house with appeal to young women and girls to come out of their houses and help the needy women. Thousands of them came out. Those who had some knowledge of nursing started working forthwith and the rest were given short nursing courses after which they also joined the volunteer work. Thousands of men also came out to help the refugees who had become their Pakistani brother. This continued for over 2 years till every family was settled in house and had some earning facility.
Such was the spirit of people of Pakistan.
I don’t know where that has got lost. I get badly hurt when I see hear some from the new generation say, “Is Pakistan a country worth living?”
They forget that this country had made them what they are today and instead of being grateful to Allah Soob-hanohoo wa Ta’ala (God, all praise be for Him) for gifting such a nice country and for making them stand on their feet, they are showing pride.

Pakistan has been blessed by Allah Azzu wa jall (God Almighty) with everything. It houses some of the highest mountains in the world, Glaciers, snow-bound mountains, green mountains, green fields, rivers, man-made water channels, sea, sandy desert. A large variety of good quality fruits, vegetables and grains grow in Pakistan. Some of the fruits, vegetables and grains growing in Pakistan are the best quality in the world.
